Summary:
Performs general cleaning duties in and around manufacturing plant, breakrooms, restrooms, and office spaces.
Works independently with limited supervision.
Production workers work in a team environment and perform many duties assigned by the supervisor.
Must meet work and production schedules while producing products to customer specifications and expectations.
Maintains communications associated with activities of the department and employee relationships supporting company goals.
This can be a full-time or part-time position.
The full-time position will work day shift, Monday through Friday, 7am to 3:
30pm and your tasks will be split between custodial work and production work.

A part-time position will be custodial work only with the ability to work a flexible schedule.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Responsible for cleanliness of the walk ways, restrooms and common areas throughout plant.
Check and refill all hand towels, soap dispensers, and toilet paper to ensure proper levels and availability.
Gather and empty trash cans.
Responsible for cleanliness of all breakroom throughout the plant, this includes microwaves and periodically cleaning out the fridge/freezer located in each breakroom.
Check and refill breakroom supplies such as paper plates and eating utensils to ensure proper levels and availability.
Gather and empty trash cans.
Clean building floors by sweeping/vacuuming, mopping and/or scrubbing where necessary; clean and dust fixtures/surfaces, wash windows, and mirrors.
Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners in order to prevent damage to floors and other surfaces.
Inventory and re-stock all first aid kits throughout the plant, and clean and maintain emergency eye wash stations.
Complete forms, logs and other documentation as required.
Monitor supply levels and order supplies as needed.
Locate and transport supplies and materials as needed.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment and observes best practices in all activities.
Communicates and maintains an effective relationship with management and co-workers.
Sorting and stacking raw materials and finished goods, sorting lengths, species, widths and thickness.
Reads work order to determine profile type, bundling, stacking and packaging procedures.
Defect marking, using chop saw to remove defects, and running lumber through moulder.
Performs stacking functions, piling finished products and lumber off equipment, arranging boards to make up sturdy units of a standard width for ease of transporting and storage.
Performs banding functions securing piles for transporting.

Qualifications:
Ability to work independently, must be able to self-manage tasks to ensure timely completion.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
Ability to read a tape measure.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
EDUCATION AND/OR
Experience:
Highschool diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months job related experience and/or training.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, lift, bend, stoop, reach and grasp, push & pull.
Substantial use of wrists, elbows, hands and fingers is required.
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
Ability to push and maneuver material filled carts regularly.
REQUIREMENTS:
Highly self-motivated, responsible, quality conscious, detail oriented, positive attitude.
Ability to understand all verbal and written communications.
Good safety and attendance record, regular attendance at work and punctuality are essential job functions.
Must have the ability to perform the physical demands of the job.
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
